Billich wins Florence Biennale Lorenzo Il Magnifico Painting Prize

Charles Billich’s entry of “Angels and Demons of Florence” has won the prestigious Florence Biennale Lorenzo Il Magnifico Painting Prize at the 2009 Florence Biennale. The painting is currently exhibited in The Palazzo Panciatichi, seat of the Tuscan Regional Government and Presidency.

“The Order of the Golden Eagle” commissioned by HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco

Charles Billich received the honor to create “The Order of the Golden Eagle” for His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco for his Eco Art Parade this summer in Monte Carlo. Charles was thrilled to support The Eco Art International, who are a human adventure using an artistic approach to save the planet, in a creative, dynamic, original and concrete manner. The principal is simple: to organize exhibitions around the theme of an endangered bird, to auction the exhibited works in order to raise funds and to provide financial support to a pre selected humanitarian-environmental organization. The principality is the nest for the 2009 exposition and all of the proceeds from the sale of the exhibited Bonelli Eagle sculptures will benefit the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation.
